Stevenson Memorial Hospital is proud to be included in the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit’s new Food Safety Inspection Disclosure Program.
Inspection Connection is an online disclosure program that allows the public to access inspection results for food premises across the County, including Stevenson’s cafeteria, kitchen and vending areas.
Inspection reports are available at www.inspectionconnetion.ca.
Sites will be required to post green or red signs visible to customers, to indicate recent inspection results.
Stevenson has been awarded green signs for all three inspection areas – certificates of inspection noting that the minimum standards of Ontario’s Food Premises Regulations are met.
“We are extremely proud to display these green signs and to let our patients, visitors and staff members who use our facilities every day know that we are meeting and exceeding the standards are we are committed to providing safe, quality care in all areas of the hospital,” said Jody Levac, President and CEO at Stevenson.
